Live With Joy. Lead With Compassion. Do Good for Erin.

Our Story

Do Good for Erin is the classic definition of turning tragedy into triumph. Founded in 2019 after the heartbreaking death of 25-year-old Erin Langhofer — a fun, generous, and compassionate social worker — the organization has raised in her name $650,000 in donations, collected truckloads of comfy clothes, housewares, and toys, and awarded $30,000 in scholarships to promising master’s degree students at the University of Kansas. Of course, we miss Erin every day, but her legacy lives on in the good works undertaken by her family and her ever-expanding circle of friends and fans.

From its inception, Do Good for Erin has focused on one goal: Passion for Ending Violence, and Compassion for Those It Affects. The funds we raise, the events we host, the supplies we collect, and the merchandise we sell are all in support of organizations and projects that align with that goal. And just like Erin, we strive to infuse joy and inclusiveness into everything we do.
